I'm on the Map (IPAM)

From the joint experience between ISPN and the Amazon Environmental Research Institute (IPAM), through the development of the project “Mapping Invisible Communities in the Cerrado” financed by the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF), with the support of Rede Cerrado, the possibility arose of expanding the Tô no Mapa application, together with the Goods Energy fund to work on the registration of communities in Maranhão, in the Amazon portion, with the aim of expanding the registration of communities and families in this area.

The work that was implemented in this partnership with IPAM, in the state of Maranhão, aimed to “continue the engagement of multiplier institutions, especially those representing local social movements in the northern Cerrado and eastern Amazon, in the use of Tô no Mapa and its tools, in addition to supporting the improvement of the Tô no Mapa platform, the development of studies related to the initiative's data, and the communication of the results produced and their importance for guaranteeing territorial rights and the conservation of the Cerrado and the Amazon.”
