Starting in 2019, ISPN launched the 25th PPP-ECOS call for proposals with resources from the Amazon Fund/BNDES – totaling R$ 4.300.000 (four million and three hundred thousand reais) – to support projects that contribute to the conservation of the biome through the sustainable use of biodiversity and the strengthening of rural communities. This is the 5th call for proposals of the Program with resources exclusively from the Amazon Fund, and aims to support projects of community-based organizations and non-governmental organizations in the Legal Amazon, with only those located in the states of [the Amazon region] being eligible. Maranhao, Mato Grosso and Tocantins (See attached list of municipalities in the tender document).
The resources allocated for this call for proposals total R$ 4.300.000.

The Program adopts three categories of project support – Small, Consolidation e Strategic – according to the definitions and values that follow:
1. Small Project Up to R$ 150.000,00 to support community-based organizations that have been in existence for at least two years;
2. Consolidation Project Up to R$250.000,00 to benefit organizations that already have experience and projects with proven positive results and impacts, and that can expand the scale of their operations, potentially replicating them. Organizations must demonstrate their activity and have been legally established for at least five years.
3. Strategic ProjectThe program, with a value of up to R$ 500.000,00, is intended to support organizations facing situations requiring investments linked to a regional strategy. Strategic projects will be selected through this call for proposals, in a differentiated manner, and must include actions that synergize with other projects in the territory where they operate. Organizations must demonstrate their activity and have been legally established for at least five years.
The deadline for submitting proposals is until the day 06 May 2019.
