The call for proposals focuses on networked initiatives addressing challenges related to climate change. Applications are open until June 17th.
The PPP-ECOS Fund, managed by ISPN, is launching its 37th call for proposals, offering opportunities to support networked initiatives that contribute to enhancing ecological resilience, generating global environmental benefits and sustainable rural development in the Cerrado and Caatinga biomes. A total of R$1.920.000,00 (one million nine hundred and twenty thousand reais) will be invested in projects matching the described profile that benefit traditional peoples and communities and family farmers. This call is supported by the Global Environment Facility – GEF, through the “Seventh Operational Phase of PPP-ECOS”, a project implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and executed by ISPN.

The unique aspect of this call for proposals is its focus on supporting projects with strong networking capabilities. In other words, the selected organizations must collaborate to execute the chosen project through partnerships, thereby amplifying the benefits and results to contribute to solving problems faced by the target audience. To this end, the maximum amount allocated to each proposal is R$250.
Thematic lines
The call for proposals will consider initiatives that strengthen the conservation of territories, promote socio-biodiversity economies and environmental restoration, and improve public policies related to these themes. Therefore, projects must operate within one of the following thematic areas:
- Improving the conservation status of the areas;
- Improving public policies for the conservation and protection of territories and socio-biodiversity;
- Restoration of native vegetation areas;
- Strengthening socio-biodiversity economies.
