The call for proposals is open for applications until October 2nd; selected initiatives will focus on mitigating and adapting to climate change in the Cerrado and Caatinga biomes.
The 39th call for applications PPP-ECOS Fund, managed by the Institute for Society, Population and Nature (ISPN), will allocate R$4,2 million to projects developed by women and young people focusing on sustainable rural development and environmental benefits in the Cerrado and Caatinga biomes.

The initiatives should be led by women or young people to promote mitigation and reduction of environmental and social vulnerabilities through actions aimed at mitigating and adapting to climate change.
There are two thematic lines guiding this call for proposals: projects for the productive inclusion of women's groups, and youth projects in the context of rural education.

With 30 years of experience, the PPP-ECOS Fund has a diverse range of funders and has already allocated resources to more than 900 projects and around 500 community organizations across Brazil.
This time, the This call for proposals is made possible by resources from the Global Environment Facility (GEF), in its "Seventh Operational Phase of the PPP-ECOS," executed by ISPN in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and from the Socio-environmental Fund of the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES), within the scope of the Youth Empowerment and Rural Feminism project.
