Indigenous Notice updated due to pandemic protocols

Due to the context of the Covid-19 pandemic and following the recommendations of health authorities regarding safety measures, it was necessary to update the “Call for Proposals for Microprojects for the Indigenous Lands of Maranhão and Northern Tocantins (Apinajé and Kraholândia Indigenous Lands)”. The purpose is to support individual initiatives that promote territorial environmental management and the protection of their surroundings in these indigenous lands.

This call for proposals falls within the scope of the CTI/ISPN/USAID Project – “Integrated Environmental and Territorial Management of Indigenous Lands in Eastern Amazonia”, whose objective is to contribute to the conservation of Eastern Amazonia, in the state of Maranhão and northern Tocantins.

It is important to emphasize that all applicants must carefully read the guidelines contained in both the Call for Proposals and the Safety and Precautions Protocol, as these will be decisive in the approval or rejection of the submitted projects.
